Anodised aluminium is an excellent engraving material which can be processed, amongst others, using a laser. All aluminium products offered by us can be engraved.
When anodising aluminium, the surface of the metal is enhanced and protected against corrosion. During this process, the anodised layer can also be dyed which enables you to create attractive aluminium designs. This is why aluminium is an ideal engraving material which is also available in a stainless-steel look. Lial offers anodisation with different dyes (gold, silver, bronze, black, red, blue and green).
After the anodisation, the engraving material can be processed using a laser, screen printing or anodised printing. In doing so, it is possible to create an elegant look, especially when using aluminium parts which were anodised with dark dyes because the engraving of a laser is always brighter than the anodised layer.
The special feature of laser engraving is the accuracy thanks to which it is also possible to engrave very fine lines. During this process, the anodised layer is not damaged and the corrosion protection of the layer will not be impaired.
In addition to anodisation as the basis for engraving material, we also offer chromate conversion coating using Li-chromium 100 (free from chromium trioxide according to the RoHS standard). Moreover, we also carry out milling, welding, cutting and bending work for our customers.
